Universidad Católica de Santa María continuously receives groups our students into its School of Spanish and Peruvian/Latin American Studies in a flexible way.

We manage and accommodate the program according to the academic requirements of each group of students.

We usually add Literature and Society courses to the core Spanish course, and we complement them with Cuisine and/or Dance workshops.

All of the subjects are provided by the best of our Faculty.

Our Spanish course strongly benefits from the fact that Peru, and especially Arequipa, has the most standard Spanish pronunciation of Latin America.

Take a look at our Dance and Cuisine workshops galleries on Facebook.

Student's Experience
I didn’t know what to expect- I knew it was going to be a great experience but I didn’t realize that it was going to be some of the BEST weeks of my life! ... It’s an absolutely gorgeous place, surrounded by three mountains that are visible from anywhere in the city, at all times.  The weather was always perfect, sunny and around the mid 70’s or so.  We stayed with host families there as we attended La Universidad Católica de Santa María.  We had three morning classes four days a week with Peruvian professors, learning about literature, language, and the culture (which we received six Edgewood credits for!).
